I absolutely LOVE my Ford Explorer! We get snow every winter and it is excellent in the snow! It has enough room for all my grandkids and still has room in the very back for bags, groceries, whatever! LOVE IT!!!

AWESOME SUV for the price, I bought the 2019 Explorer Sport with the Eco Boost V6 Twin Turbo engine, all black inside and out, black leather seats with red stitching, twin Moon Roofs and all the bells and whistles, I really love this body style, didn't like the 2020 body style. Ford you got a good thing going for you why change anything. LOVE MY 2019 FORD EXPLORER SPORT.
  • Great for towing small trailer

Hands down best all around vehicle for my current lifestyle. 5000# tow capacity allows me to comfortably tow my 3000# travel trailer and all gear, plus a dog in the back seat . The rear camera is the best for hitching up a trailer. The sand and mud settings for 4WD come in handy and I use them often to drive out on the beach for clam digging and general beach life.I have hauled large pieces of driftwood home ( with a protective mat in the rear) . I hated the original Kumho stock tires and replaced them after only 42000 miles. I bought the Explorer with 30000 miles on it . Ford needs to step up the tires on new vehicles . I got stuck last winter in the ice. I put TOYO CUV XL tires on. So far only have 4000 miles on them, but perform so much better in snow, ice and sand. I can go anywhere with confidence. The interior satisfies my need for comfort. One complaint is that the drivers side leather seat easily got a small tear when my over excited dog scratched it trying to greet me . THe ford electronics are a little complicated, and I do not use the voice command much as she gets it all wrong . The GPS is not that great. I use my own on my phone. Improvement could be made in the visual line of site from drivers seat to traffic coming from the right, as the passenger door frame somewhat obscures the view. Not so in my Ford Edge that I had prior to the Explorer. people have commented how roomy and comfortable the rear seats are. It is a stylish vehicle inside and out when I clean it up and detail it out, which is often as I use it as a true SUV. I would upgrade to a F150 if my towing needs increase in the future.
